LIBRARY CONTEST: Thanks to all who entered the library guessing contest for November. You have gotten very good at your math skills. No one got it exactly right this time - but many of you were VERY close. SIX students were just one below the correct number and THREE more were one above the correct number of 251. Unfortunately going over doesn't count. So, congratulations to: Kate Sterling, Makenzie Woodrow, Sebastian Lambie, Calii Valencia, Pippa Bartsch, and Yajaira Verdugo Perez.  ATTENTION SOCCER FANS: Soccer club is finally coming to Einstein! Soccer Club will run every Thursday, rain or shine, until the spring. All grade levels and skill levels are welcome. The first day of Soccer Club will be December 5th. YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN UP EACH WEEK TO PARTICIPATE. The sign up sheet will be outside Ms. Casteel's room, 1319, on Mondays. 

FOOD DRIVE COMPETITION:  As many of you know, Mr. Manza is a die-hard Cougars fan. To up the stakes, he has agreed to come to school wearing Huskies gear if UW wins the food drive competition, and well, it's not looking good for Mr. Manza. After one week, the current food drive totals are WSU Cougars- 25 items, Einstein Tigers- 47 items, and UW huskies with 181 items! The competition ends next Wednesday, so you have three more days to vote for the best school. You're gonna look good in purple, Mr. Manza!

DOUBLE HEADER FOOTBALL TONIGHT: Shorewood Stormrays vs Ferndale Golden Eagles.  The game starts at 5:00.  Tickets are $5 if you come with an adult and $7 if you come on your own.  Really love football? SPIRIT DAY 1:  This Thursday, October 31st we will host a school wide event where you may dress up and wear a Halloween costume if you would like. The expectations for your costumes are: The costume must be school appropriate. Remember, cultures are not costumes. If you are worried about your costume not being appropriate, please ask an adult at school. We must be able to see your face, and there cannot be gore or weapons with your costume.

SPIRIT DAY 2:  Friday, November 1st we will have a Pajama Day. Wear your cozy pajamas and show your school spirit! PJs need to be school appropriate and we will ask that you leave your stuffies and blankets at home.
